How To Invite The President To Your Event

Step 1: Submit a request

Complete the online invitation form.

  • Deadline for submission is 30 days in advance of the event. For requests under 30 days, please contact the Office of the President.
  • We are unable to consider incomplete requests.
  • Please make us aware of any changes to the event immediately, such as start/end times, menu, venue, speakers, etc. Contact the Office of the President immediately at 979.845.2217.
You will be notified of the status of your request within three weeks of submitting the form.

Step 2: Receive confirmation and submit an event information form

If it is possible for President Welsh to attend your event, you will receive confirmation and instructions on how to fill out and submit the Event Information Form.

This information is due 18 business days prior to the event date.
